Igbogbo Beach Soccer Team Get Friendly Games For National League Engagements

The management of the Igbogbo Beach Soccer Club (IBSC) has lined – up friendly matches for  the team in preparation for the team’s second phase engagements in the National Beach Soccer League holding in Kebbi State later this month.

IBSC will be joining other teams in Kebbi for 2 – day workshops on May 11, while the league matches commence on Thursday, May 13.

According to the release by the team’s management on Tuesday (yesterday), IBSC is expected to engage in intra team matches at 4.00pm on Thursday, May 6, while the team will play against the Ijede Selected at 10.00am on Saturday, May 8.

Also, the team would play against Shola FC on Sunday, May 9.

All the matches will hold at the Igbogbo Township Stadium.

Mr Ademola Ogunlewe (Oruma), one of the team’s manager, speaking with THE IMPACT at the weekend, said that the team has been engaging in virtual and physical trainings and would be playing two friendlies this week.

“We have been making use of a projector for virtual training at the pavilion inside the Adeboruwa palace”, he said.

“We have also been combining both physical and virtual training to ensure that the players are well prepared than they were for the first phase”.

“We are planning two friendly matches for this week to further make the team competition ready”, he added.

Igbogbo Beach Soccer Club will be joining Edo HCF, Kebbi, Badagry, Kaduna, Kwara, Smart City and Anambra BSC for the second phase of the National League.
